Where are we sailing?
There are so many options, depending on what you want to see and what the wind gods have in mind for us. In general, we'll work with you the day of your cruise to come up with the best experience for you.
In general, we want to see the prettiest parts of the lake, avoid motoring and keep the sailing conditions comfortable.
Most of our sails are from Slidell, Louisiana. It's a 20 minute drive from downtown New Orleans, 90 minutes from Baton Rouge, and about an hour by car from the casino resorts on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We'll probably choose to leave from either Lakeshore Marina or the Tammany Yacht Club dock, depending on whether we want to go East or go West.
We have short pages to discuss what we might expect see and do depending on where we are. Every cruise is different. On every sail, we almost always experience something that we haven't experienced before.
